We were staying in North Conway for our 25th anniversary, decided to do the northbound trip to Bartlett and back. Since there was plenty of snow on the ground and the train was decorated for Christmas, it was a pleasant journey. We were in the “Hattie Evans” car which had comfy seats at tables (dining car, but no food on this particular excursion). Very clean and COVID safe. Friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. We are 60+, younger kids might not find this particularly interesting, but we enjoy train rides and this is better than some we’ve been on in other states.

Took the Bartlett Holiday express with our kids. It was right after a snow so it was a beautiful trip. We all enjoyed the comforting ride, the conductor's information on the local area and the railroad.

We did the Winter Steam on the 7470 train. What a great time. 100 year old steam engine pulling us thru the winter wonderland of North Conway, Bartlett, Interval up past Attitash and into Crawford Notch. We had a ball. Everyone that worked on the train was incredibly pleasant. Michelle our hostess and Tyler were so nice. We are the envy of all our friends once they saw my photos. We will be back

My husband enjoys trains, so we took a spontaneous ride on the Bartlett route. We did first class and had a tiny little spot in a practically empty car. Once we started moving, we were told we could move to a bigger spot, which was much more comfortable. Our ride was really good. We were relaxed, enjoyed the scenery and liked listening to the history as we moved along. It was a good time. The staff were very friendly and are doing the best they can during covid.
